About the Mentor
Joy Pan was the Senior Acceleration Manager at XNode working with startups, scale-ups and corporates on innovation. She led the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) programme helping Singapore technology companies with their go-to-market strategies in China, and also worked on other cross-border market expansion programmes with countries such as Russia, Brazil, and South Korea across multiple industries.
Before she joined XNode, Joy spent 6 years in higher education designing and delivering learning expeditions for overseas students and supporting MNCs in understanding China’s business and innovation landscape. She is currently pursuing her MBA in Canada.

Mentorship Experience
Joy Pan has coached over 20 Singapore, South Korea, Russia-founded tech startups in their journey to detemine their product-market fit within China. Among them, Joy has successfully helped more than 5 overseas companies apply for government grants with local Chinese partners for R&D and commercial collaborations.
One of these was a Singapore-founded new material tech startup, which managed to land a R&D collaboration and commercial contract with a Zhejiang material company that aims to achieve sustainable business impact for automotives and green buildings.
